GINGIVITIS SIGNS
Gingivitis signs is characterized with inflammation in the epithelial tissue surrounding the cervical portion of the teeth of a person and affect gums. The most common gingivitis is chronic, caused by common plague. Oral hygiene is very important to prevent this condition. The inflammation and swelling starts after a few days of plague accumulation, wherein fibrin is deposited and collagen is destroyed in the initial stages. After about a week, early lesions turn into lymphocytic infiltrates. As the disease progresses, the gums become loose and the teeth eventually fall out. Gingivitis causes gums to bleed while brushing, flossing and eating.
