LI FRAUMENI SYNDROME
Li-Fraumeni syndrome is a very rare type of autosomal dominant disorder where a person had already been suffered from this syndrome. The syndrome is said to occur mostly in people with ages below 30. The symptoms include unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, aches, unexplainable pains, lumps or swellings, change in vision and headache. The causes are primarily due to the mutation in the TP53 gene, which leads to other mild forms of cancer and hence cause LFS. The treatments includes chemotherapy and surgery based upon the type. Radiation therapy should be done under caution since it may evoke other cancers.
