ACEMANNAN
Generic Name: ACEMANNAN
ABSTRACT -
Acemannan is a beta-(1,4)-linked acetylated mannan polysaccharide derived mainly from Aloe vera gel. It has been investigated as a biomaterial and biologically active natural polysaccharide with potential wound-healing, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, dental, and tissue-regeneration applications. Commercial preparations can vary substantially in purity, molecular weight, acetylation, and intended use. Acemannan should not be considered a substitute for approved medical therapy unless used in a regulated product and under professional guidance.
DOSAGE -
Acemannan dosage depends on product type, formulation, purity, route, indication, and regulatory status; there is no universal standard dose.
- Use only according to the specific product label or clinical protocol.
- Topical, dental, biomaterial, oral supplement, and veterinary-related uses may involve different formulations and safety requirements.
- Do not inject or implant non-sterile or non-medical-grade material.
