DOSAGE -
- Dosage should be determined only by a qualified healthcare professional.
- Andecaliximab has been administered intravenously in clinical studies using protocol-specific schedules.
- No universal approved dosing regimen is established for general practice.
- Patients require specialist monitoring for infusion and disease-specific safety outcomes.
SIDE EFFECTS–
- Possible side effects include:
- Infusion-related reactions
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Rash
- Headache
- Infections
- Laboratory abnormalities
ALLRGIC REACTIONS–
- Possible allergic reaction symptoms include:

- Facial swelling
- Bronchospasm
- Hypotension
- Anaphylaxis symptoms
- Important: Patients who develop an allergic reaction to Andecaliximab should seek immediate medical attention and inform all future healthcare providers of the allergy.
DRUG INTERACTIONS–
- Other biologic immunomodulators may increase infection risk.
- Chemotherapy may add gastrointestinal or hematologic toxicity.
- Corticosteroids may alter immune response.
- Live vaccines should generally be avoided during meaningful immunosuppression.
- Patients should inform healthcare providers about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, herbal products, vaccines, and supplements they are using.
PREAUTIONS–
- Use only under clinical trial or specialist protocol.
- Monitor infusion reactions, infection signs, and disease-specific labs.
- Use caution in active infection and significant immune compromise.
- Pregnancy safety is not established.
WARNINGS –
- Investigational biologic; not for routine unsupervised use.
- Emergency management must be available during infusion.
- Report fever, severe diarrhea, dyspnea, or allergic symptoms promptly.
