DUTACATIB

Generic Name: DUTACATIB

ABSTRACT -

Dutacatib is an investigational cathepsin K inhibitor studied for osteoporosis and cancer-induced bone disease. It reversibly inhibits cathepsin K-mediated collagen degradation.

DOSAGE - 

No approved dosage. Oral dosing followed dose-escalation or preclinical/clinical study protocol.

SIDE EEFECTS -

  • Gastrointestinal upset
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Skin or rash events
  • Laboratory abnormalities

ALLERGIC REACTIONS -

(These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction and require medical attention.)

  • Rash or pruritus
  • Urticaria
  • Facial swelling
  • Anaphylaxis (rare)

DRUG INTERACTIONS-

  • CYP-mediated interactions should be assessed in protocols
