ABSTRACT -
Durcabtagene autoleucel is an investigational autologous, BCMA-directed chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy studied for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
DOSAGE -
No approved dosage. Dose is expressed as CAR-positive viable T cells and administered per protocol after lymphodepleting chemotherapy.
SIDE EEFECTS -
- Cytokine release syndrome
- Neurotoxicity/ICANS
- Cytopenias
- Infections
- Hypogammaglobulinemia
ALLERGIC REACTIONS -

- Infusion reaction
- Fever, chills, rash, or hypotension
- Anaphylaxis (rare)
- Allergy to excipients or residual manufacturing materials
DRUG INTERACTIONS-
- Live vaccines are generally avoided before/after CAR-T until immune recovery
- Immunosuppressants can alter CAR-T activity
- Myelosuppressive agents increase infection/cytopenia risk
PREAUTONS–
- Specialized certified cellular therapy setting required
- Monitor for CRS, neurotoxicity, infection, and prolonged cytopenias
- Assess viral serology and bridging therapy per protocol
WARNINGS –
- Potentially life-threatening CRS and neurotoxicity
