ANBENITAMAB
Generic Name: ANBENITAMAB
ABSTRACT -
Anbenitamab, also known as KN026, is an investigational anti-HER2 bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to bind two distinct, non-overlapping extracellular HER2 epitopes. This dual binding can promote HER2 blockade, receptor clustering/downregulation, and immune effector activity in HER2-positive tumors.
DOSAGE -
- Dosage should be determined only by a qualified oncology specialist.
- No globally established approved dosage is available; dosing is clinical-trial or regional-authorization specific.
- Infusion schedules in studies are protocol-defined and require oncology monitoring.
- HER2 status, cardiac function, and prior anti-HER2 therapy history should be assessed before treatment.
SIDE EFFECTS–

- Anthracyclines and cardiotoxic drugs require careful sequencing and monitoring.
- Immunosuppressants may modify immune-effector activity.
- Live vaccines should be avoided during clinically significant immunosuppression.
- Patients should inform healthcare providers about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, herbal products, vaccines, and supplements they are using.
PREAUTIONS–
- Confirm HER2-positive disease using validated testing.
- Monitor for infusion reactions and cardiac function.
- Use caution in pre-existing cardiomyopathy, uncontrolled infection, pregnancy, or severe organ impairment.
- Administer only in centers able to manage oncology infusion reactions.
WARNINGS –
- Investigational or region-specific product; do not use outside authorized settings.
- Seek urgent care for dyspnea, chest pain, severe infusion reaction, or signs of heart failure.
- May cause fetal harm based on HER2-targeted class effects.
- Keep out of reach of children.
