Generic Name: CIMPUCICLIB
ABSTRACT -
Cimpuciclib is an investigational cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor in early-phase oncology trials. CDK inhibitors target cell cycle progression, and this compound is being evaluated for antitumor activity in select solid tumors.
DOSAGE -
Oral; dosing per clinical trial protocol (phase I dose-escalation ongoing).
SIDE EEFECTS -
- Neutropenia
- Thrombocytopenia
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
ALLERGIC REACTIONS -
(These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction and require medical attention.)
- Rash
- Hypersensitivity
- Pruritus
- Drug fever
DRUG INTERACTIONS-
- CYP3A4 substrate interactions likely
- Concurrent myelosuppressants increase cytopenia risk
- Avoid concurrent QT-prolonging agents if cardiac conduction effects observed
PREAUTONS–
- CBC monitoring required
- Hepatic function assessment at baseline
- Dose modifications for hematologic toxicity
- Not established in pediatric patients
WARNINGS –
- Myelosuppression can be severe
- Investigational — clinical trial use only
