ABSTRACT -
Dimebutic acid (2,2-dimethylbutyric acid) is a short-chain fatty acid derivative studied as a pharmacologic modulator of gene expression and hematologic parameters. This document is not a prescribing guide.
DOSAGE -
- No routine clinical dosage is established for general use.
- Dose, food instructions, and laboratory monitoring must follow the clinical-trial protocol.
- Do not substitute with dietary fatty acids or supplements.
SIDE EEFECTS -
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, headache, or fatigue may occur.
- Changes in blood counts, liver tests, or metabolic parameters may occur.
- Odor or taste intolerance may occur with small organic acids.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS -
- Immediate rash, hives, itching, flushing, or generalized skin reaction
