ABSTRACT -
Batiraxcept is a AXL decoy receptor fusion protein. Current status: investigational oncology/viral-disease biologic. Mechanistic summary: binds GAS6 and reduces AXL receptor activation. This document is for structured API information only and is not a prescribing guide. Clinical use, if any, must follow the approved local label, institutional protocol, and specialist medical judgment.
DOSAGE-
- No universal approved public dosing regimen is established for routine use unless a local label exists.
- Dose, route, frequency, premedication, and monitoring must follow the trial protocol, sponsor manual, or approved label.
- Administration should occur in a setting equipped to manage hypersensitivity and class-specific toxicity.
SDE EFFECTS-
Possible side effects and safety concerns include:
- Injection-site or application-site reaction
- Fluid retention, pain, fever, or constitutional symptoms
- Immune response to the recombinant protein or fusion protein
- Target-related laboratory changes
ALLERGIC REACTIONS -
Hypersensitivity to Batiraxcept or related products may occur. Symptoms may include:
- Urticaria, generalized rash, itching, flushing, or fever
- Facial, lip, tongue, or throat swelling
- Wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, or collapse

Important: patients with suspected allergy to Batiraxcept should seek immediate medical attention and inform future healthcare providers.
DRUG INTERACTIONS-
Batiraxcept may interact with medicines, biologics, vaccines, supplements, procedures, or clinical conditions. Caution is needed with:
- Other biologics with overlapping pathway effects may alter safety.
- Immunosuppressive therapy may affect response or infection risk.
- Concomitant local therapies should follow label or protocol instructions.
Patients should provide a complete medicine list, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, herbal medicines, vaccines, and supplements.
PREAUTIONS–
- Use aseptic technique and product-specific storage/reconstitution instructions.
- Monitor immune reactions, target-pathway markers, and route-specific local reactions.
- Avoid substitution between biologic products without prescriber oversight.
WARNINGS –
- Serious hypersensitivity or immune-mediated reactions may occur with biologic exposure.
- Investigational or limited-public-data product: efficacy, dose, and long-term safety are not fully established.
- Do not use without qualified medical supervision, approved labeling, or a formal clinical-trial protocol.
