ABSTRACT -
Edelfosine is a synthetic alkylphospholipid analog of lysophosphatidylcholine with antineoplastic and anti-leishmanial activity reported in development literature.
DOSAGE -
Dosing is investigational and protocol-specific. Do not use a non-validated formulation clinically.
SIDE EEFECTS -
- Gastrointestinal upset including nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Elevated liver enzymes
- Hematologic changes in oncology settings
