Generic Name: ANCRIVIROC
ABSTRACT -
Ancriviroc is an orally bioavailable small-molecule CCR5 antagonist originally investigated as an HIV entry inhibitor. By blocking CCR5, it was designed to prevent CCR5-tropic HIV-1 from entering target immune cells and was also explored in inflammatory disease research.
DOSAGE -
- Dosage should be determined only by a qualified healthcare professional.
- Ancriviroc is not approved for routine clinical use.
- Clinical dosing was investigational and should not be inferred from related CCR5 antagonists.
- HIV tropism testing would be required for any CCR5-targeted HIV strategy.
SIDE EFFECTS–
