Generic Name: EDARAVONE
ABSTRACT -
Edaravone is a free-radical scavenger used in some jurisdictions for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and acute ischemic stroke. It reduces oxidative-stress-mediated injury in susceptible settings.
DOSAGE -
Use the approved IV or oral regimen for the local product and indication. Do not extrapolate dosing across formulations without labeling
SIDE EEFECTS -
- Contusion, gait disturbance, or headache
- Dermatitis, eczema, or rash
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Hypersensitivity reactions
ALLERGIC REACTIONS -
These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction and require medical attention.
- Sulfite-sensitive or formulation-related hypersensitivity may occur
- Rash, urticaria, bronchospasm, or anaphylaxis
DRUG INTERACTIONS-
