CALOTATUG

Generic Name: CALOTATUG

ABSTRACT -

Calotatug is an investigational monoclonal antibody targeting a tumour-associated antigen or immune checkpoint pathway being evaluated in early-phase oncology trials. It is being assessed for solid tumours or haematological malignancies where its target is overexpressed or dysregulated. Phase I studies are defining safety, pharmacokinetics, and early efficacy signals.

DOSAGE -

Intravenous infusion; flat or weight-based dosing Q2W or Q3W per Phase I escalation protocol.

SIDE EFFECTS - 

  • Fatigue
  • Infusion-related reactions
  • Nausea
  • Elevated liver enzymes
  • Rash

ALLERGIC REACTIONS -

These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction and require immediate medical attention.

  • Infusion hypersensitivity
  • Urticaria
  • Angioedema
  • Anaphylaxis

DRUG INTERACTIONS-

  • Concomitant immunosuppressants may reduce efficacy
  • Avoid live vaccines
  • Additive toxicity with other biologic agents

PREAUTONS–

  • Premedicate for infusion reactions
  • LFT monitoring recommended
  • Effective contraception required
  • Use only in clinical trial settings

WARNINGS –

  • Immune-mediated toxicities possible
  • Embryo-foetal toxicity not excluded
  • Report all adverse events through trial pharmacovigilance
