AMULIRAFUSP
Generic Name: AMULIRAFUSP
ABSTRACT -
Amulirafusp alfa is an investigational immuno-oncology fusion protein that combines CD20-directed binding with a SIRPalpha-derived CD47-blocking component. It is designed to target B-cell malignancies and enhance macrophage-mediated phagocytosis and immune killing by interfering with the CD47 “do not eat me” pathway. A standard small-molecule structure is not applicable; the representation above is a biologic fusion-protein schematic.
DOSAGE -
Dosage should be determined only by a qualified oncology professional.
No approved standard dosing regimen is established for routine clinical use.
Use should occur only in an authorised clinical trial or specialist oncology access programme.
Premedication, infusion rate, dose escalation, and modification should follow protocol and toxicity monitoring.
SIDE EFFECTS–
- Possible side effects include:
- Infusion-related reactions
- Fever or chills
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Anaemia
- Neutropenia
- Thrombocytopenia
- Infections
- Tumour lysis syndrome
- Liver enzyme abnormalities
- Hypersensitivity
ALLRGIC REACTIONS–
- Hypersensitivity to amulirafusp alfa or excipients may occur.
- Symptoms may include urticaria, angioedema, dyspnoea, hypotension, fever, rigors, or anaphylaxis.
- Important: Infusions should be given where emergency support is available.
DRUG INTERACTIONS–
- Other anti-CD20 therapies, CD47-pathway agents, chemotherapy, and immunosuppressants may increase toxicity or alter response.
- Live vaccines should generally be avoided during significant immune suppression.
- Anticoagulants and antiplatelets require caution if thrombocytopenia develops.
- Patients should inform oncologists about all medicines and supplements.
PREAUTIONS–
- Monitor blood counts, haemolysis markers, chemistry, infection signs, and tumour-lysis risk.
- Use caution in active infection, severe cytopenias, and autoimmune cytopenia history.
- Pregnancy must be avoided unless specialist benefit-risk assessment supports treatment.
- Use only under oncology supervision.
WARNINGS –
- Amulirafusp alfa is investigational and not approved for general clinical use.
- Severe cytopenias, infections, tumour lysis, or infusion reactions may occur.
- Promptly report fever, bleeding, shortness of breath, or dark urine.
- Keep out of reach of children.
