DUVELISIB

Generic Name: DUVELISIB

ABSTRACT -

Duvelisib is an oral PI3K-delta/gamma inhibitor approved for selected relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma after prior therapies.

DOSAGE -

Oral 25 mg twice daily is a standard adult regimen for approved use; follow current prescribing information for dose modifications and indications.

SIDE EEFECTS -

  • Diarrhea or colitis
  • Neutropenia
  • Rash
  • Fatigue
  • Elevated liver enzymes or infection

ALLERGIC REACTIONS -

(These symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction and require medical attention.)

  • Rash or urticaria
  • Severe cutaneous reaction
  • Angioedema
  • Anaphylaxis (rare)

DRUG INTERACTIONS-

  • Strong CYP3A inhibitors may increase duvelisib exposure
  • Strong CYP3A inducers may reduce exposure
  • Avoid live vaccines and monitor interactions with immunosuppressants

PREAUTONS–

  • Pneumocystis jirovecii prophylaxis is recommended during treatment
  • Monitor for infections, diarrhea/colitis, pneumonitis, liver toxicity, and neutropenia
  • Use antiviral prophylaxis per label guidance

WARNINGS –

  • Boxed warnings include fatal/serious infections, diarrhea/colitis, cutaneous reactions, and pneumonitis
  • Treatment requires careful monitoring and dose interruption/discontinuation rules
