Vertigo Signs
Vertigo is a sense of spinning dizziness. It resembles the feeling of the world spinning when one rides a rollercoaster. It is a symptom of many diseases and may be caused due to a problem in the brain, the ear or the sensory nerve pathway.It usually affects people with 65 years of age or above but it can also happen to anyone, at any time. It may be temporary or long termed. Symptoms of vertigo include headache, tinnitus, feeling of fullness in the ear, motion sickness and imbalance. They are of two types: Central and Peripheral. Although some of this disease resolves without treatment, but it also might need urgent medical attention. Certain drugs are also prescribed to keep vertigo at bay.
