FOREARM REFIXED IN AIIMS
A 28 year old farmer got his right forearm fixes by a team of doctors from AIIMS after he sustained deep injury from an accident. The team headed with the plastic surgeon Dr. Jiten Kumar Mishra, Dr. Shamendra Anand Sahu, Dr. Prachi Simore, with anesthesia team, Dr. Chinmay Panda, Dr. Chandran Dey to perform the surgery. As per the reports, the patient got severe cuts in his forearm, blood vessels and the tissues of the bone were cut off. Plastic surgeon Dr. Mishra explained that it could have been life threatening and he could have lost his hand functionality if the surgery was delayed. Postoperative blood flow in both the arteries was found normal and physiotherapy was started. The patient will be better soon.
